Patrick Lyons is an accomplished producer and multi-instrumentalist, known for working with Colter Wall, Josh Meloy, Noeline Hofmann, Justin Jeansonne, and Kade Hoffman. From Chicago, Illinois, Lyons began playing guitar at the age of 10 and has not stopped playing music since. Patrick grew up in blues bars around Chicago’s south-side where he shared the stage with blues legend, Eddie C. Campbell.  Lyons later graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Columbia College Chicago with a concentration in jazz studies.

Lyons honed his writing, recording, and producing skills while fronting his own band and playing in every rock club in the Midwest before making his way down south.  Lyons moved to Texas in 2015 and was a sideman in several country bands, playing at infamous honky-tonks and dance halls like Gruene Hall, Luckenbach and Billy-Bobs.

In 2018, Lyons moved to Nashville to further his music career. Since then, Lyons has toured around the world and played on hundreds of studio sessions. Some of the acclaimed artists Lyons has played with include Colter Wall, Dustin Lynch, and Cody Jinks. In addition, Lyons has performed on the Today Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Austin City Limits, the Texas Music Scene and frequents the Grand Ole Opry.

Lyons also produced The Plea, an EP from songwriter Josh Morningstar, who fans of Cody Jinks will recognize for his many contributions to records, including hit song “Must Be the Whiskey.”

Lyons uses different musical styles and his vast instrumentation skills to tailor each recording project.  A passionate musician adept in all music from blues to bluegrass, country to jazz and pop to rock, Patrick is a key session player and a sought-after, up-and-coming producer.
